Francis "Frank" W. Manna

Francis Frank W. Manna, born October 19, 1916 in Ridgeway, PA, son of Anastasio & Carmella Manna and brother to 5 boys and 3 girls, went home on Jan 30th, 2012, to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, and his wife Bobbie and sons Craig and Buddy Manna, who preceded him in death.

Frank graduated from St. Leo's Catholic High School in Ridgeway, PA in 1934 and was inducted into the Army Air Corps in 1939. Frank married Bobbie C. Harley of
Savannah, GA in 1941. After service to his country, he was employed by the Chatham County Tax Collection Office during which he attended the UGA off campus extension in Savannah. He was subsequently employed by the Savannah American Oil company in 1945 where he was the Assistant Office Manager and Vice President and Treasurer of the Amoco Oil Credit Union until retirement in 1983.

Frank is survived by a sister, Mary Thorwart of Johnsonburg, PA, a son, Robert W. Manna of Parker, CO, a daughter, Cynthia A. Bensch of Bluffton, SC, 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great- grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 4, 2012. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
